PLANNING, MONITORING AND EVALUATION UNIT
The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E) Unit of Nyamasheke District plays a central role in ensuring effective planning, implementation, and performance tracking of District programs and projects. The Unit provides the following services:
1. Integrated Development Planning
- Develop guidelines for integrated district planning and ensure compliance across all departments and sectors.
Provide technical support in the development of strategies that align district priorities with national policies and District Council decisions.
2. Monitoring and Performance Tracking
- Monitor the implementation of the District Strategic Plan, Action Plans, and Imihigo.
Provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement, adjustment, or completion of programs and projects.
3. Reporting and Data Management
- Coordinate and supervise the consolidation of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation reports from various District units and sectors.
Ensure quality, consistency, and timely reporting.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Participation
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen collaboration with development partners and stakeholders.
Promote inclusive participation in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
5. Advisory and Coordination Services
- Provide strategic advice to District leadership on planning, monitoring, and evaluation matters.
- Participate in the District Technical Coordination Committee and support coordinated decision-making.
